At an early age I studied to be an artist and I learnt form, light, shadow and shape. I was then introduced to my first camera and I fell in love. I learnt to ‘read a scene’ (timing is everything!), control light and create true photography with my own unique vision. I hold a BA honours degree in photography and I have worked as a professional photographer for over 13 years nows. I get totally swept away with the emotions on a wedding day and wholeheartedly believe in recording these instances naturally and without that ‘nuisance photographer interference’

Throughout my career I have specialised in documentary photography and fashion imagery. My style of wedding photography can best be described as a fusion of wedding photojournalism and contemporary fine art wedding photography. My wedding coverage is not limited to one style of photography as thats just not me. I am the narrator and creator of your wedding story and so I capture the ambience and joy of the occasion in my own unique style. I am often found studying the lastest wedding and fashion magazines which help inspire my unique style and so incorporate bold imagery into many of my more formal photographs.

For most of the wedding day I photograph special moments and details unobtrusively, creating beautiful natural photography. I am a natural light wedding photographer and believe shooting this way retains the true ambience of the occasion. With a high level of technical craftmanship I create dynamic photography as the day unfolds. At some stage during the day I photograph the bride and groom together creating truly special, unique and fun portraiture for you to enjoy.
